A charge controller or maximum power point tracker (MPPT) regulates the voltage and current from the solar PV modules to the battery and the load, ensuring efficient and safe energy use.
From the above information,it can be known that compared with grid connected PV systems,the stand alone PV systems cannot export electricity to the grid.So stand alone PV system is mainly used in remote areas with unstable mains or no mains.
